What should I wear to class?

Please wear what is most comfortable to you. Most students will find workout clothes such as leggings, bike shorts and a fitted top or t-shirt are the best. All group yoga and Pilates classes are done in bare feet. You might be more comfortable wearing socks with grips or studio shoes to barre class, but they are not required.  Please refrain from wearing perfume, cologne or scented oils during class, as some people have allergies.  Be also be mindful of your personal hygiene and shower and wear deodorant before attending class.

 

What classes are best for beginners?

Yoga Basics meets each Saturday from 8:15-9:15am.  We also offer Happy Hour and Gentle Yoga classes on Wednesday at 7:30-8:30pm, Tuesdays/Thursdays at 11am-12:15pm, and on Fridays at 6:15-7:15pm.   Barre and Pilates classes are not divided into levels so feel free to attend any class that fits your schedule- just be sure to let your instructor know that it’s your first class so she can get you oriented and help you modify any poses if necessary.

 

Is there parking?

Yes, we are located in a small shopping center with parking conveniently located directly in front of the studio.

 

Can I bring my child?

Sorry, but no.  While we love children, due to safety, liability concerns and respect for other members, we cannot allow them to stay in the studio while class is in session. We thank you in advance for making other arrangements for your children while you’re attending class. 

 

What are your age minimum for class attendance?

Pre-Teens/Teens aged 12-14 are allowed in classes with parent present and parental consent. Teens aged 15-18 are allowed in classes with parental consent. Please download and bring the minor release form with you to class. You can find this form on the bottom of our homepage.

 

What happens if I need to cancel a class?

We have a 24 hour cancellation policy for private appointments and a 4 hour cancellation policy for group classes.  Please note that you will forfeit your session if you cancel after that time period. If you reserved a class online, your reservation will be held for you until the start of class only.  If you are not at the studio at this time, you will risk losing your reservation as the space will open up to anyone who is waiting.  There are no exceptions and we cannot hold your reservation if you are running late.
