This workshop will focus on how to develop and adjust your Pilates based floor work classes for a variety of clientele. We will cover how to keep your classes fresh and your students engaged, no matter their age or fitness level, while providing them a safe place for challenge, growth and change. Take home a new outlook on the importance of the Mat work.

PMA CEC's will be offered for this course.



Kevin Bowen is regarded both in the United States and internationally as an advocate and authority for the Pilates industry. He was the Co-founder, past President and Executive Director of the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) and owned and operated his own studio, Pilates Miami, for more than 13 years. He has also served in the position of Director of Education for Peak Pilates. Currently Kevin is the owner and director of Core Dynamics Pilates a Pilates Teacher Training Program and works as a consultant and program developer for various companies in the health, fitness, and Pilates profession. Kevin has been featured on numerous local television features around the US in addition to CNN, the Discovery Channel, Pilates Style Magazine and Ocean Drive Magazine as well as a contributor and author on numerous articles on the Pilates method. Join us for an Introduction to Yoga series designed to introduce new Yoga students to basic techniques in a slower paced, informative and supportive environment!

This Workshop Series will Cover:

  • What is Yoga? 
  • Basic breathing and meditation techniques
  • Basic postures to cultivate strength, balance, mobility and relaxation
  • How to safely modify poses and use props to support and assist you in your practice
  • Gain a strong foundation in the practice of Yoga and learn the skills to take care of yourself and enjoy the benefits of any class!

Taught by Joe Falco, certified CrossFit coach and Yoga Instructor

Only 6 people per class to ensure personal attention!

The twice weekly sessions are based on fundamental bodyweight strength training and high intensity interval training (HIIT). Sessions include a mobility warm-up,  a strength and toning component, metabolic conditioning and cardio, and a core "sprint".

  • Class reservations open 1 week in advance
  • There must be an open package to reserve a class (reformer classes are not included in group class membership)
  • There is a 6 hour cancellation policy.  Session is forfeited if client cancels less than 6 hours in advance
  • *New students to the Pilates Reformer must take a 30 min intro session for $25 to participate in group classes or be cleared by the studio.
  • Grip socks must be worn
