Nell Amos has been an active player in the fitness and wellness industry for over 15 years. Nell began her education at James Madison University where she studied psychology, exercise science and nutrition. Her studies continued at The George Washington University where she received a Masters degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Nutrition and Weight Management. Nell also graduated from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City where she trained as a Certified Health Counselor accredited by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP). Nell is a PMA certified Pilates mat and apparatus Instructor through Core Dynamics Pilates, a certified Vinyasa Yoga Instructor through Miami Yogashala and a certified barre instructor through The Booty Barre. She has also completed advanced trainings in pre and post natal Pilates and Yoga, Pilates for Back Pain, Pilates with Scoliosis, as well as others from Stott Pilates. Before founding Inner Balance, Nell worked for an elite health club as their lead Pilates instructor, in addition to founding and directing their holistic nutrition and wellness program. She’s been published in Brickell Magazine as well as in SOBeFit Magazine, where she served as their mind/body columnist.
Claudia’s passion with body movement manifested through dance in her early years. She started taking dance classes at the age on 6 in her native Brazil, and by 12 was dancing professionally. Although her career as a dancer seemed to be moving in a positive direction, she felt that something was missing. Her body was moving in space graciously, but somehow mechanically. Her desire to bring life and quality to her dance led her to study Contemporary Dance. It opened a whole new world of possibilities in the way she pursued movement. She had the opportunity to study techniques like the Feldenkrais Method, The Alexander Technique and other movement therapies in 4 year program at The Center for the Research of Movement in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Relocating to Miami in 1993, Claudia pursued her massage certification at Educating Hands School of Massage and continued to hone her technique by taking a variety of workshops and certification courses including NeuroMuscular Therapy, Shiatsu, Thai Bodywork, Ayurveda and Mother Massage. She believes that massage is a great way to establish communication with your own body. It brings awareness and a general sense of well being. Claudia worked for many years at the prestigious Mandarin Oriental Spa in downtown Miami. Claudia completed the Comprehensive Course for Teacher Training at Polestar Pilates Center in Miami and most recently became a certified barre instructor through The Booty Barre.  Claudia now feels that she is able to join the best of massage and movement. She believes that massage and Pilates combined with a healthy diet and lifestyle is an effective way to promote healing in the body and the mind.
Diana knows that yoga offers tools to live life to the fullest. Her mission is to share the art and science of yoga, so others can benefit from its healing, uplifting, and transformative power. She began teaching yoga in 2005 and is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-YRT) and Continuing Education Provider (YACEP) with the Yoga Alliance. She holds certifications from Synergy Yoga, Skanda Yoga, and Gentle Therapeutics Yoga. She also holds a MA in Speech Communication, has enjoyed living on five continents, and makes it a point to keep getting on her mat and to laugh every day! She teaches gentle and slow-flow yoga classes at Inner Balance and is the lead teacher for the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training.

Kayla took her first yoga class 11 years ago and has been enamored by the art and discipline of yoga ever since. She earned her 200-hour certification in 2006 and for the past 10 years has taught a variety of classes that have given her the opportunity to influence a wide range of students. Kayla has enjoyed working with seniors, athletes, active duty military members, wounded veterans, and children with special needs. Apart from being an E-RYT 200, Kayla has experience working as a rehabilitation technician, in-home caregiver, child care provider for foster children and physical therapy aid for children and adults with cerebral palsy. Her previous work experiences have highly influenced her teaching style. She places a strong emphasis on individual care. Through shared techniques and philosophies, Kayla gives students various tools to cultivate a personalized practice that provides mental and physical strength, balance, flexibility and most valuable of all, self-gratitude.
Trisha Carter began her training in Maine with Bossov Ballet Theater and continued training abroad under the instruction of Irina Trofimova, Alla Sizova, Natalia Papinashvilli, Dimitri Simkin, and Vadim Pisarev. She completed her schooling at the Harid Conservatory and Kirov Academy before joining Houston Ballet II and later Ballet Florida. In Florida, Trisha has worked with multiple companies and choreographers performing both locally and internationally: Cuban Classical Ballet, Miami Contemporary Dance Company, Dance Now Ensemble, and is currently a soloist with Florida Grand Ballet.

Trisha received her Inner Balance Barre certification with Amy Berntsen and has been teaching at Inner Balance for two years. She continues to teach ballet throughout the Miami area when she is not performing or already on the Inner Balance Studio schedule. Trisha holds a B.B.A. in International Business & Trade and a B.S. in International Economics. Besides ballet, she loves to cook and is working on a food blog, while pursuing her own investment business.

Jori Olmeda was born in Mexico City and lived in Southern California until her early twenties when she moved to South Florida. She majored in Communications and Marketing as well as the performing arts. As a talented singer, she loves being in front of an audience. Jori discovered her passion for fitness after taking classes at Inner Balance as a client. She started exercising because her health had begun to deteriorate due to poor nutrition and lack of physical activity. Over the course of 2 years, Jori introduced herself to Pilates, Yoga and Barre.  She shed 35 pounds and changed her physique completely. Jori's passion is barre.  She loves how it incorporates the best of yoga, Pilates and dance into one amazing workout.  It was her dedication for the work that led her to complete the rigorous Booty Barre certification.  She became a certified instructor in April 2014. Jori also completed Equinox's Pilates mat certification in September 2014.

Jori’s mantra is “ The price of excellence is discipline” and she believes that patience and dedication will take you where you want to be, no matter your age or health.

A Certified Yoga Teacher and a Plant-based Raw Chef, Joanna strives to empower people to live up to their full potential by mindfully breathing and eating, while developing a mind-body connection. Her quest for optimal health and a fulfilled life begun over 10 years ago, when she started practicing yoga and meditation. In a journey to nourish and heal her own body, she experienced a wide range of techniques, which led her to pursue yoga teachings around the world (India, US, South America, SE Asia, Australia) allowing her to develop a deep and broad understanding of the practice and its philosophy. Joanna completed her 200h teacher training in Byron Bay, Australia, and she intends to always remain a student of the spiritual teachings. Yoga has brought a profound purpose to her life and that’s what she shares with her students.

Galina began practicing Yoga in 2010 and immersed herself in as many styles as she could fit into her busy schedule. She fell in love with the practice and quickly realized that Yoga was more than just something she wanted to "do", it was something she wanted to share with others.  In October 2012, Galina traveled to a small town in Central India called Khajuraho, to complete her first 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Classical Hatha Yoga. In 2013, she followed up with a 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Vinyasa flow through Atmananda Yoga Sequence in New York.  In February 2015, she began her studies of Thai Yoga Massage at Integral Yoga Institute in New York. Galina wanted to expand her knowledge of the human body, enabling her to work with her students on a deeper level.  Also in 2015, she was introduced to Pilates and knew it would be a complement to her teaching repertoire. She completed a Comprehensive Pilates Training program including the Reformer, Chair, Tower, Cadillac, and mat through Helen's Intensive Pilates, in Brooklyn, New York. In addition, Galina is also a certified Kettle Bell Fusion Instructor. Galina has been teaching Pilates, Yoga and Kettle Bell Fusion at Helen's Intensive Pilates in New York for the past 1.5 years, until she decided to move to Florida and continue to share her passion of Yoga and Pilates with the beautiful people of Miami! Galina is originally from Latvia and speaks fluent Russian and English. She loves skiing, hiking, camping, reading and listening to Jazz!

Joe Falco is an experienced health and fitness instructor certified in CrossFit, Yoga, Mobility and other disciplines. Joe received his CrossFit Level 1 and 2 certifications in 2010, was certified by YogaWorks in their 200 hour RYT program in 2014 and became an Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist in 2015 from the Himalayan Institute.  Joe applies principles of yoga aimed to produce lasting benefits in the nervous, endocrine, and musculoskeletal systems through a deep and relaxing practice involving breath work, stretching and conscious meditation.

Beatriz Adriana Gutierrez believes yoga is a practical tool to heal our bodies, find our breath and enliven our spirits. She steps onto her mat each day as both a student and a teacher. She completed her 500 Vinyasa Krama TT with Ruslan Kleytman, Hathavidya Level II 500 TT with Will Duprey and 200 TT with Mariano Ardissone at Ayama. She traveled to India to study at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram and Himalayan Yoga Academy. She has also studied with Andrey Lappa, Surinder JI, and Ashish Sharma.  Her curiosity and love for different cultures has made her a global adventurer. These journeys were the source and foundation for her passions of yoga, art and spirituality. Adriana studied in Florence, Italy at the Angel Academy where she mastered oil painting in classic realism. Her yoga techniques are art in motion. She share yoga as the tool for enhancing human potential to keep the body and mind in harmony.  Beatriz Adriana holds a degree in Fashion Design from The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. She always makes herself available to her students that are a combination of all ages and abilities. There is a very special one on one feeling of attention that she shares with students that work with her.

Maria Paula's passion for Yoga began in 2001 in Bogota, Colombia. While studying to be a theater actress, she fell in love with Yoga and how she calm she felt after practicing. She moved to London to further pursue her studies in theater and after finishing her studies, she moved to India to deepen her knowledge of Yoga. She completed her first 200-hour Teacher Training in Hatha Yoga in Kerala, India under the guidance of Swami Ji. She continued her journey of preparing to become a Yoga teacher in New York by completing a second 200- hour Yoga teacher training with Sri Dharma Mittra. In 2008, Maria Paula returned to Colombia where she taught Yoga professionally for 5 years in the best Yoga studios in Bogota. Aware that the journey of Yoga is one of continual growth, she earned two more teacher trainings certifications, a 200-hour training in Anusara Yoga with BJ Galvan and a 300 hour training with Noah Maze in LA. She is constantly travelling, as well as taking workshops and intensive courses with some of the best known teachers in the US: Jason Crandell, John Friend, Shiva Rea, Sharon Gannon and David Life.  She is also a certified holistic health coach and graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition as well as a certified BARRE teacher from Exhale Spa.  Maria Paula lives in Miami Beach with her husband and their dog, Figo. She divides her time between coaching clients, teaching Yoga and Barre classes and teaching her dog to do a “downward facing dog” on command and other tricks!

In 2001, Beverly Herbozo completed her Master degree in speech-language pathology. After serving in a variety of healthcare settings, Beverly recognized many disease and disorders could be prevented. She embarked on a journey of exploration for optimal well-being including studying at the Optimum Health Institute and Ann Wigmore Natural Health Institute. In 2006, Beverly Herbozo took her first yoga class. She experienced yoga as a vehicle for strengthening her physical body and mind. Her yoga practice naturally evolved to support her off the mat. Following this realization, she had a strong desire to share the empowering benefits of yoga. In 2010, Beverly completed her 200 hour teacher training and in 2013 her 500 hour teacher training from the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. Further trainings included teaching to athletes and special populations. Beverly's classes are built from the ground up creating a solid foundation as you connect breath with movement while practicing being present.  It is Beverly's intention to provide a safe and supportive environment to experience yoga. Modifications are provided so that yoga is accessible to everybody. Besides being a student of yoga, Beverly is a fitness enthusiast, world traveler, wellness coach, personal trainer, Reiki practitioner, and breathwork facilitator. She finds joy in laughing, learning, teaching, and connecting with nature.

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Belen is a dancer and fitness enthusiast who studied at the Nacional Dance School of Buenos Aires.

In 2007, she and her sister founded "Health Studio" which gave the traditional Pilates class a more innovative approach combining the latter with Dance. She worked there for six years until September 2013 she moved to the States.

Belen's certifications include Zumba, Pilates Mat, Pilates Reformer for dancers, Pilates on the ball, Lathin Rythms, Rehab for back injuries, pregnancy, post pregnancy & Biomechanics.

Born in Los Angeles, Suzanne spent 18 years living in New York before moving down to Sunny South Florida.

Suzanne's career has led her through the world of fashion, fitness and food (@edenbarbakery - her hobby turned business!). Suzanne has been instructing group fitness classes for over a decade with a focus on barre, cycle, running & MUSIC!

She holds 5 Barre certifications, (Cardio Fit Barre, Barre Burn, True Barre and Gold Barre).  These certifications cover different barre styles from tuck & pulse to ballet to cardio. She has created her own signature style which is an aerobic sculpt class that moves clients to work on and off the barre and challenge their strength and stability. Suzanne is also a certified Pilates Mat instructor as well as 200 hour Yoga Teacher, and incorporates these elements into her classes. When she's not teaching barre, she is either instructing cycle or running, baking her famous Eden Bars or hanging with her pride and joy, her son, Hudson.

A lifelong athlete, Avery discovered her love for barre and yoga while in college at Tulane University in New Orleans. She received her Barre Above instructor certification and had so much fun sharing her music-driven workouts with others that she soon decided to expand her fitness training even further with a 200-hour RYT training from Shanti Yoga Shala. With a focus on alignment, form, and core strength, Avery's goal for every class is to balance a positive atmosphere with an intense practice so that students leave feeling stronger, healthier and happier than before!
